She was predeceased by: her parents, Oswald John Edmond and Morgory Rice Preston; her husband Herbert Sylvester Schaeffer; her brother Robert Preston; and her nephew Bobby Preston.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Massung (John), Kadie Schaeffer, Stephen Schaeffer (Chris) and Mark Schaeffer; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Dickerson, Angela Thompson (Dwight), Jennifer Witt (Daniel), John Preston Massung, Ashlynne Lee (Nick), Luke Schaeffer (Liz), Silas Schaeffer (Barbi), Caleb Schaeffer, Thomas Dodson (Nicole), Heather Dodson and Nikki Dodson; her great grandchildren, Chloe, Lauren, Andrew, Logan, Finn, Lily, Annie, Maddie, Jamie, Elijah, Avin, Evalyn, Kenzie and Drew; and her nieces, Colette and Vanessa.
