It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion McComsey of Lynchburg, Virginia, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Proctor and Marion Proctor; her husband Harold "Mac" McComsey; her sister Bette; her brother-in-law Richard Thompson; and her son-in-law John "Bill" Nance.
She is survived by : her children, Susan Nance of Lynchburg and Douglas (Mary); her grandchildren, Monica Zimmerman (Todd) of Chesterfield, Kyle McComsey (Kelsey) of Chesterfield and Taylor Nance of St. Augustine, FL; and her great grandchildren, Harper, Riley Zimmerman and Charlotte McComsey.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alzheimer's research.
