We are sad to announce that, on December 6, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Martha Persinger Nowlin in Lynchburg, Virginia, born in Lookout Mountain, Tennessee. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughters, Patricia Wood Nowlin of Forest and Martha Whitaker Nowlin of Tennessee; her son-in-law James Aaron Smith, Jr.; her grandsons, James Aaron Smith, III and Joseph Alexander Smith; her great grandchild Dylan James Smith; her son Joseph Persinger Nowlin; her brothers, Joseph Samuel Persinger and John Marshall Persinger; and her parents, Rachael Tillman Whitaker Persinger and Joseph Hull Persinger. She was also cherished by four nieces, five nephews, and her two sisters-in-law.
