He is survived by: his daughter Laura Scott (Brian) of Lynchburg; his granddaughter Kristy Scott (Aaron) of Henrico; his sister Linda Tuck of Lynchburg; and his brother-in-law Ronnie Stevens of Appomattox.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer Association or to the Lynchburg Humane Society.
