It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle Bryant Stone of Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on December 15, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Marco Stone; and her parents, William C. Bryant, Sr. and Ethel Modlin Bryant. She is survived by: her sons, Marc G. Stone (Cindy) of Lynchburg and Mitchell B. Stone (Tracey) of Lynchburg; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emily, Matt (Kelsey), Owen and Jarrett; and her great grandchildren, Bryce, Nola, Ella, Gabe, River and Reed. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
