He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Cox and Mary Cox. He is survived by: his wife Donna Cox; his siblings, Pat Ramsey (Bobby), Fred Cox (Marie), Sandra Salmon (Wayne) and James; his sister-in-law Sandy Clay; and his siblings' children, Jake (Taylor) and Carson. He is also survived by three children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory-Lynchburg (220 Breezewood Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
