He is survived by: his sisters, Avalene Johnson, Christine Jones and Lilian Fleshman; and his friend Doris Watkins. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Davis-Turner Funeral Service (1016 Rivermont Ave, Lynchburg, VA 24504).
