Michael Lee Wynn Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2025, at the age of 85, Michael Lee Wynn of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Michael shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Michael farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Wynn and Leona Wynn; and his brother Dr. Charles Wynn. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Wynn; his daughters, Kim Wynn, Marti Messina (Danny) and Brigett Potter (Jeff); his sister Leeann Peters (Tom); and his sister-in-law Ann Wynn (late Charles Wynn). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hope Company Church (3412 Waterlick Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24502).
