She was predeceased by: her mother Frances; her son Mike Dawson; and her siblings, Caroline Woody, Bobby Ware and Jimmy Ware.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Inge (Robert), Steve Dawson (Karen), Patty South (Greg) and Betty Jean "BJ" Leebrick (Tom); and her friend Carol Rafferty. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
