It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nevvie Fleming Brooks (Lynchburg, Virginia), born in Cana, Virginia, who passed away on December 10, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Monroe Fleming and Daisy Mayberry Fleming; and her son Joel Brooks. She is survived by: her husband Robert Wayne "Bobby" Brooks; her son Mark Brooks (Carlos); her grandson Brandon Brooks (Corey); her great grandchild Ella; and her sister-in-law Phyllis Fleming.
