It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Otis Ray Simms of Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on September 2, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Simms and Elva Simms; and his brother William Simms. He is survived by: his wife Esther V. Simms; his child Kelly Woodall (Tony); his grandchildren, Alden, Andrew, Ashton and Adam; his children, Jonathan Simms (Kim), Hunter, Landon, Carson (Coty), Amy Phillips (Buddy), Jack, Hampton, Stacey and Dodd; and his great grandchild Ava.
