It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pamela Thompson of Lynchburg, Virginia, born in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on March 31, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Charles Ernest Rawle, Jr.; and her sister Alice Jane Rawley Long. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Ray Thompson, Sr. of Lynchburg; her children, Bobby Ray Thompson, Jr. (Jennifer) of Marvin, NC and Kimberly Thompson Brown of Waycross, GA; her grandchildren, Mia Skylar Brown, Tre Brown of Waycross, GA and Tyson Riley Thompson of Marvin, NC; and her brother Charles Ernest Rawley, III (Janice).
