He is survived by: his children, Veronica Price (Antonio) of Danville, VA, Shane Scott (Kristi), Phillip Lovelace (Lisa) of Maryland and Vicky Lovelace; the mother of his children JoAnn Lovelace of Alexandria, VA; his siblings, Florine Gilbert (Charlie), Edith Jones (Horace), Sarah Scott, Connie Butler (Bishop Dwight), Carolyn Monroe, Debra Carr (James), William Lovelace, Larry Marable (Lois), Dennis Marable (Joan) and George Black (Sheila); his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Brown (Larry), Vanessa Stotts (Tracy), Georgia Watkins Bernice (Michael), Leanette Watkins, Jeffrey Jones, Sr., Larry Scott (Linda), Wallace Scott (Iris) and David Scott (Linda); and his aunts, Edith Mobley and Lula Gilliam. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Viewing was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Service (304 Lusardi Dr, Brookneal, VA 24528). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Luke Baptist Church (13292 Red House Rd, Brookneal, VA 24528). A burial was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at the St. Luke Baptist Church Cemetery (13292 Red House Rd, Brookneal, VA 24528).
