He is survived by: his wife Brenda Hedrick Meeks; his sons, Jonathan David Meeks (Connie) of Lynchburg and Justin Michael Meeks (Michelle) of Stephenson; his grandchildren, Bryson Meeks, Braylee Meeks, McKinley Meeks, Micah Meeks and Meadow Meeks; his siblings, Janie Wilsher (Lee) of Roanoke, Gayle Jung (William) of Melbourne, FL, Michael Meeks (Kelly) of Madison Heights, Brenda Meeks of Lynchburg and Sabrina Bowyer (Rodney) of Bedford; his brother-in-law Tom McPherson of Fredericksburg; and his close friend Steve Vanaman of Lynchburg.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Service and Crematory (427 Graves Mill Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
