He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Hubbard Pennix and Lenora Evans Pennix; his grandparents, David, Linda Evans Pennix, Hubert and Irene Russ Evans; his siblings, Willie Pennix Jr. "Boone", Ronald Lee Pennix "Fuzzy", Edward Harvey, Cornell Pennix, Christine Marie Banks (Richard "Bobby") and Jacqueline Stone; his mother-in-law Asonlona Coles; and his sister-in-law Emma Jean Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Coles Pennix; his sons, Deshawn Pennix, Jawon Pennix, Charleston Davis and Jonathan Davis; his grandchildren, Armani Neveah Pennix and Dominic Greyson Pennix; his brothers, Tyrone C. Pennix, Anthony J. Pennix and Willie Harvey; his siblings-in-law, Patsy Pennix Shirley Pennix, Ladonna Gail Cabell Pennix, Florence Coles, Joanne Coles, Janice Merriman, Arthur Stone and Joe Davis; his adoptive daughter Nashana Jennings; and his pet Major Payne Pennix. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
