He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Neil Maitland and Rachel Fanning Maitland. He is survived by: his brothers, Neil Maitland (Terrie) and William H. "Bill" Maitland (Sandi); his nephews, Kirk Maitland, Kent Maitland (Maria) and Christopher Maitland (Michelle); his niece Amy Kempher (John); and his cousin Mark Tyrrell (Diann). He is also survived by his family, friends.
