He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Vern Park and Mary Alice Park; and his wife Jane Faison Park. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Pascale (Chris) and Keith Park (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Kirsten, Brooke, Sydney, Cameron, Katelin and Collin; and his siblings, Elizabeth Whitaker (late James), Alice Fairbrother (Woody) and Vern Park (Sheryl).
In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to any of the four charities that were near and dear to Richard's heart: The Jubilee Family Development Center, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Lynchburg Daily Bread, and The Lynchburg Humane Society.
