We are sad to announce that, on April 7, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Richard Willis Shirkey of Lynchburg, Virginia, born in Memphis, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Wilborn Shirkey and Barbara Jane Wilson Shirkey; his son Larry Wayne Dooley Jr.; and his brother Robert "Bobby" Shirkey. He is survived by: his wife Cleo Shirkey; his children, Christine Shirkey, Alisha Crouch (Matthew) and James "Jay" Sines, IV; his grandchildren, Larry "Trey" Dooley, III, Madison Crouch, Ella-Mae Dooley and Jackson Crouch; his brother George Shirkey (Margaret); and his pet Blaze. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, many friends.
