He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. William Guy Brafford and Eva Mayfield Brafford; and his siblings, William Brafford, Jr. and Sharon Crowell. He is survived by: his wife Kim; his children, Ricky Brafford, Jr. (Sami) of Lynchburg, Marion Hedgepeth (Banks) of Richmond and Asher Brafford (Becca) of Lynchburg; his granddaughters, Rebecca and Olive Hedgepeth of Richmond; his siblings, Barbara Weatherby (Glynn) of Kannapolis, NC and Dwight Brafford (Sherry) of Concord, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Crowell of North Carolina and Beverly Brafford of Georgia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
