She was predeceased by: her sisters, Janie R. Gilmore and Mary A Roach; and her niece Brenda Gilbert Wright. She is survived by: her daughters, Alverita Waldren, Janice Estes and Tami Hairston; her grandchildren, Jamison Spinner (Christon), Nicole Dawson (Ryan), Quincy Hairston, Rita Hairston, Travis Calloway, Trae'Calloway, Trevor Calloway and Taylor Calloway; her great grandchildren, Micaiah Spinner, Jamari Spinner, Quinn Hairston, Qunicy Hairston Jr., Chyna Stokes, Asia Stokes, Paris Horsley, Jordan Horsley, Taelin Calloway and Madelynn Calloway; and her great great grandchildren, Kyree Amir Lewis and Chloe Quinn Lawson. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory (220 Breezewood Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holcomb Rock Baptist Church (5184 Boonsboro Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24503).
