He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Marie Nelson; and his daughter-in-law Angie Nelson. He is survived by: his children, Robert Bourne Nelson, Jr., David Walker Nelson, Sr. (Lisa) and Carolyn Nelson Smith (Stan). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 1/2 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
