He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ferrell; his children, Dean Ferrell, Kristy Ferrell Edmonds and Jenny Ferrell; his children-in-law, Edmonds Jr. and Ann Ferrell; his grandchildren, Abbie Morrison, Amelia Edmonds, Hannah Ferrell and Ellie Ferrell; his great grandchild Georgia Morrison; and his brother William "Billy" Ferrell.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Book Hotel Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory-Lynchburg (220 Breezewood Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 at the Book Hotel Quaker Baptist Church (4665 Chestnut Fork Rd, Bedford, VA 24523).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Timberlake Church.
