He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter W. Salassi and Ruby Russell Salassi; his son George K. Salassi; his granddaughter Stephanie Leigh Williams; his great grandchild George W. Napier III; and his siblings, Edith O'Brien, Walter, Edward, Russell and Rodney Salassi.
He is survived by: his children, Robbie F. Williams and Stephen L. Salassi (Brenda); his grandchildren, Jimmie N. Williams III and Tara B. Napier (George); and his sister Ruth Warndoff.
