He was predeceased by: his spouse Jackie Powell Hight; his son Robert Troy Hight; his siblings, Randolph H. Hight, Virginia L. Jennings (Bill) and David G. Hight; and his parents, Harvey Lee Hight Sr. and Mabel Tinnell Hight.
He is survived by: his daughter Regina Hight Mason (Mark Rogers) of Lynchburg; his daughter-in-law Marianne Clark Rhodes Hight of Pawleys Island, SC; his grandchildren, Robert Tucker Hight (Chasity) of Myrtle Beach and Alexandra Hight Balicki (Brandon) of Savannah, GA; his siblings, Graham Hight (Gloria) of Lynchburg and Lucille'Tee'Seay (Jessie) of Rustburg; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Hight. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
