She was predeceased by: her husband Randolph A Maddox, Sr.; her son Randy Maddox Jr.; her siblings, James Deaton and Jean Giles; and her parents, Roy Deaton and Ruby Deaton.

She is survived by: her children, Dale Maddox (Lynn), Alan Maddox (Crystal), Alfred Maddox (Kay) and Annette Dalton (Keith); her daughter-in-law Cathy Maddox; and her sisters, Louise Corvin, Virginia Powell, Wretha Smith and Pauline Goodman. She is also survived by grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
