He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Learline Abbitt and Douglas Abbitt; his brothers, Edward and William Abbitt; his grandparents, Gervin, Julie Booker, Viola and Andrew Randolph; his siblings, Mary Alice of Appomattox, VA, Rosa Thomas of Spout Spring, VA, George Abbitt of Spout Spring, VA and Woodrow Abbitt (Eleanor) of Appomattox, VA; his aunt Angens Randolph of Concord, VA; his godsons, Neal Thomas and Jacyeon Abbitt; his nieces and nephews, Mary Robinson, Leslie Galloway, Keisha Abbitt, Clarence Abbitt, Willard Fleshman Jr. and Charles Abbitt Jr.; his sister-in-law Heneritta Abbitt; and his friends, Robin Payne, Tina Jones, Kathleen Hubbard and Barbara Brown. He was also cherished by other nieces and nephews that he enjoyed spending time with and loved as his own children and a host of other relatives and friends.
