She is survived by: her children, Gloria Higginbotham, Wallace Higginbotham (Evelyn) of Lynchburg, VA, Lawrence Higginbotham (Ruby) of Amherst, VA and Paul Higginbotham (Serena) of Amherst, VA; her sister Gail D. Thompson of Lynchburg, VA; and her grandchildren, Tony Higginbotham, Angela Higginbotham-Chandler (Douglas), Wallace Craig Higginbotham and Paula Higginbotham. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
