She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Capps and Martha Alice Carter Capps; and her brothers, Thomas M. Capps, Sr. and Gerald Capps. She is survived by: her husband Bernard Monroe of Lynchburg, VA; her son Bernard; her brothers, Glenmore Carter (Lois) of Richmond, VA and Will Capps (Pamela) of Lynchburg, VA; her nephews, Kyle Capps of Lynchburg, VA and Thomas Capps, Jr. of Lynchburg, VA; her niece Qiana Latoya Harris of Lynchburg, VA; her siblings-in-law, Tracy Calloway (Curtis), Janice Monroe, Willie Monroe, John Monroe (Mattie), Tony Monroe, Darnell Monroe (Valeria), Reverend Issac Monroe (Sandra) and Charlie Monroe; her niece Nikita Calloway; and her cousins, Germaine Henderson (Van) of Leesburg, VA and Monteray Frazier (Rudolph) of Fairburn, GA. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
