With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Kay Johnson of Lynchburg, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 27, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Sharon Kay may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sharon Kay touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Eberly and Violet Ann Eberly; her sisters, Charlene Harvey and Pattie Eberley Bahler; her sons, Charles Johnson and Tony Dean Johnson; and her son-in-law James Farmer.
She is survived by: her children, Ted D. Johnson (Pam), Kenneth J. Johnson (Peggy) and Gina Farmer; her siblings, Martee Eberley and Vicki Picard; and her friend Ozelia Farmer.
