She is survived by: her daughter Susan Maddox (Billy) of Lynchburg, VA.; her granddaughter Brittany; and her siblings, Robert Howell, Jr. (Kaye) of Lynchburg, VA, Roy Howell (Pam) of Spartanburg, SC and Janet Sales (Wayne) of Jupiter, FL..

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to West Lynchburg Baptist Church or New Vista School.
