“Dear Mary and family, I am beyond devastated at the passing of my former colleague and deepest and dearest friend. I would like to ask what happened, but out of respect for the family's privacy, will defer. To say that Terry was a friend is but a mere reference to our relationship. He was my mentor, my boss, my dear, dear, friend, and I am shattered. My wife, Kathy, and I were looking forward to visiting with he and Mary having just recently relocated to North Carolina.
