It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas George Wood of Lynchburg, Virginia, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Arthur Wood and Frances Beulah Pike Wood. He is survived by: his son Dale; his daughter-in-law Suzanne Wood; and his granddaughter Frances of Michigan. He is also survived by many cousins, and many dear friends.
When in New Jersey he was involved with Cursillo and Kairos, and after coming to Lynchburg, he attended St. Paul's Episcopal Church for many years, before joining the Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd during the pandemic.
