He is survived by: his children, Ryan Ford, Katherine Scott and Joseph Scott, Sr. (Keiara); his sister Augusta Morton Foster; his grandchildren, Karmen Scott, Joseph Scott, Jr., Kehlani Scott, Jah'mir Browley, Josiah Browley, Khaleesi Scott and Melodi Sparks; and his sister-in-law Brenda Morton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
