He was predeceased by: his parents, Lila Holt and Robert Fletcher Marshall; his wife Lula Rowland Marshall; his siblings, Herbert Wade Marshall, Robert Lee Marshall and Mary Alice Baber; his children, Jackie Mayhew and Joan Mayhew Easterling; and his granddaughter Rebecca Mayhew Cassidy.

He is survived by: his granddaughter Crystal Mayhew McQuage (Jason); and his great grandchild Johnathan Cassidy.
