William Presley Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Presley in Lynchburg, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 17, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Presley and Louise Presley; his daughter Brenda Stilwell; and his siblings, Clifford Strickland, Shirley Pearce, David, Raymond, Robert and Alan.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Presley (Proffitt); his daughters, Pamela Ferrell (Scott) and Susan Deal (Mike); his grandchildren, Jonathan Grant, Sarah Grant (Shea), Katelynn Deal (Eddie Duff) and Kasey Wills (Logan); his great grandchildren, Weston Wills and Edward Duff; his sisters, Geneva Hartless (Sylvester) of Lynchburg, Rosalie Powell of Lynchburg and Bonnie Butler of Lynchburg; and his friends, Billy Ferguson, Frank Allen and Ralph Garrett.
