We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2025, Charles David Dryden Jr. of Machipongo, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Diane Margaret Dryden and Charles David Dryden Sr. David. He is survived by: his wife Renee Carol Dryden; his brother Steven Craig Dryden (Tammy); his children, Joshua David Dryden (China), Rebecca Dryden Slade (Richard) and Charlotte Dryden Pruiett (Jefferson); his grandchild Trinity Rose Dryden; his aunts, Joyce Larson and Edna Jones (Robert); and his pet Haggis.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home (11020 W Broad St, Glen Allen, VA 23060). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dover Baptist Church (635 Manakin Rd, Manakin-Sabot, VA 23103).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crater Community Hospice, Dover Baptist Church, and/or Fork Union Baptist Church.
