He was predeceased by: his parents, Diane Margaret Dryden and Charles David Dryden Sr. David. He is survived by: his wife Renee Carol Dryden; his brother Steven Craig Dryden (Tammy); his children, Joshua David Dryden (China), Rebecca Dryden Slade (Richard) and Charlotte Dryden Pruiett (Jefferson); his grandchild Trinity Rose Dryden; his aunts, Joyce Larson and Edna Jones (Robert); and his pet Haggis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crater Community Hospice, Dover Baptist Church, and/or Fork Union Baptist Church.
