She was predeceased by: her husband William Myer Bracy; her daughter Karen Lynn Bracy; and her parents, George Melvin and Grace Carpenter Coates. She is survived by: her siblings, Alverta Coates McKenna (Jack), Rella Coates Hale (Nathan) and George Melvin Coates, Jr. (Anne Marie). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
