She was predeceased by: her parents, Malcomb Harris Schmind, Sr. and Nora Walker-Viar Schmid; and her brother Malcomb Harris Schmid, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Paul Allen Tyree and Angela K. Tyree; and her sisters, Janice S. Stennette and Maxine Gasser. She is also survived by three nieces and one nephew.
