She was predeceased by : her husband George Dawson; her parents, Raymond Ogden, Sr. and Ruby Ogden; her granddaughter Brandy Workman; and her son-in-law Doug Walton.

She is survived by : her daughters, Judy Brown (Wilfred, Jr.) of Madison Heights, Tewonia Ranson (Mike) of Madison Heights, Georgianne Walton of Big Island and Beth Hall (Scooter) of Lynchburg. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great, great-grandchildren.
