She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Billy" Eugene and Vivian Lucille Caldwell (Riley). She is survived by: her husband Thomas Ralph Hash of Spout Spring; her children, Ralph Wayne Hash (Sheryl) of Forest, Theresa Hash Martin (Stephen) of Amherst and Deborah Hash Campbell (Jimmy) of Lynchburg; her grandchildren, Zachary Martin (Joellyne), Ethan Martin (Miranda), Landry Coleman (Samantha), Reagan Coleman, Olivia Smith (Uriah) and Madeline Kranz (Braden); and her siblings, Alice Caldwell Williamson and Tony Caldwell (Cindy) of Rustburg. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, family members and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Baptist Church (337 Lakeview Dr, Madison Heights, VA 24572).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Barbara's honor to Allow the Children (http://www.allowthechildren.org) and Gleaning for the World (https://gleaningcharity.org), two ministries close to Barbara's heart.
