With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cathy East Swift of Madison Heights, Virginia, who passed away on July 19, 2025 at the age of 65. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cathy East Swift to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid Cathy East farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Cathy East is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her father Ronald L. Frazier. She is survived by: her mother Elsie Fitzgerald Frazier of Lynchburg; her children, Barbara Fatigate (Danny) of Palm Bay, FL, Jonathan Swift (Christy) of Madison Heights and Jerry Swift (Sharon) of Bedford; and her brother Freddy East.
