He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Lee Brooks (Brian Burnett), Melissa Hess (Bear) and Kimberly Scruggs (Frederick); his grandchildren, Taylor Phillips (Blake), Austin Scruggs, Diana Carter and Nicholas Scruggs; and his siblings-in-law, Stuart Garrett and Dawn Beck. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
