She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cyrus and Phyllis Cyrus; her former husband David Doss; her brothers-in-law, Ronald L. Reynolds and Marvin Beck; and also, James "Buddy" Cyrus, Jr. and Brenda C. Reynolds.
She is survived by: her husband Danny Brooks; her daughters, Melissa Doss Hess (Bear) and Kimberly Doss Scruggs (Frederick); her stepdaughter Wendy Brooks; her grandchildren, Taylor Scruggs Phillips (Blake), Austin Scruggs, Diana Carter Zeno and Nicolas Scruggs; and her sister Dawn Cyrus Beck. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
