He is survived by: his children, Joseph D. Hedges, Jr. (Trish) and Deborah J. Keenan (Tim).
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Jonesboro Baptist Church Cemetery (9215 Patrick Henry Hwy, Roseland, VA 22967).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Madison Heights Christian Church.
