She was predeceased by: her daughters, Isabel, Martha and Barbara Hopkins; her brothers, Roosevelt and Leonard Richeson; and her daughter-in-law Sally Haynes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Rucker (Lou Lou) of Lynchburg, VA and Sandra (Kay Kay); her grandsons, Clay Hopkins, Jr. of Buena Vista, VA and Clarence Douglas, Jr. of Amherst, VA; her stepchildren, Viola Sandidge of Amherst, VA, Oliver Brown of Buena Vista, VA and James Dillard of Amherst, VA; her siblings, Florence Douglas (Joe) and James Richeson (Elanor); her grandchildren, Krystal Mays, Aaron Rucker, LD Douglas, Jason Hopkins, Linda Sydor, Simone Sandidge and Craig Smith; and her sisters-in-law, Doris Douglas and Faye Richeson.
