It is with sadness that the passing of Michael George Schiber of Madison Heights, Virginia is shared. Michael, born on February 12, 1943, passed away on August 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George William Schiber and Margaret Roderick Schiber; and his sister Jeannette Schiber. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Schiber; his children, Mary McAlister, Michael McAlister (Grace), John McAlister (Susan), Melinda Kerschner and Ruthanne Browning; and his siblings, Lawrence Schiber, Carol Thomas, Linda Petty (Tom) and Phillip Schiber (Sandy).
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Elon Presbyterian Church (2290 Cedar Gate Rd, Madison Heights, VA 24572). A celebration of life was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
