She was predeceased by: her spouse Lee Faulkner Trent; her parents, Corbin Glass and Cordia Glass; and her brother G. Alfred Glass. She is survived by: her children, Terry Lee Trent (Judy) of Spout Springs, Vicki Trent Harlow of Madison Heights and Nancy Carroll Trent Childress (George) of Lynchburg; her sister Norma Jean Glass of Lynchburg; her sister-in-law Alice Jean Childress of Gladys; her grandchildren, Tara Lynn Almond (Henry) of Madison Heights, Jeremy Trent of Spout Springs and Randy Trent (Cassie) of Spout Springs; her great grandchildren, Hailee Lynn Almond and Andrew Taylor Almond of Madison Heights; and her friends, Mary Tibbs and Teresa Lane. She is also survived by five step-grandchildren, ten step great-grandchildren, and one step great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces, nephews.

It was Nancy's wish that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1000 Langhorne Road, Lynchburg, VA 24503.
