With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Samuel David Cunningham of Madison Heights, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 15, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claytis Cunningham and Lottie Cunningham; his son Michael Cunningham; and his sister Wylene Shields. He is survived by: his wife Connie Cunningham; his children, Johnathan D. Cunningham (Melanie), Christopher L. Cunningham (Carrie) and Katina M. Cunningham (Menti); his brother-in-law Darryl Shields; and his nieces, Christianna Shields and Rhonda Sprouse. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
