He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Deane and Frances Taylor Deane; his wife Wilma May Deane; his children, Bennie Frank Deane, Jr., Lois Carol Deane and Darthy Ann Gardner; and his brothers, John Rich Deane, Tommy Deane, Thurston Deane and George Howard Deane.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Frances Powell (Malcolm), Janice Lorraine Powell (Roger) and Larry Elliott Deane; and his daughter-in-law Carolyn Deane. He is also survived by father figure to several nephews and grandchildren.
