She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Edward Sams and Annie Cleo Morgan Sams; her husband Jimmy Lee Prince, Sr.; and her son Gregory Todd Carrico. She is survived by: her children, Katrina Rochelle Chavez of Dunn, Jennifer Prince Lilley (Robert) of Palm Bay, Braila Mya Prince of Madison, Michael Ross Carrico of Madison, Christopher James Prince of Harnett and N. C. Jimmy Lee Prince, Jr. (Angelica) of Madison; and her sister Glena Faye Cooper (Warren) of Gordonsville. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
